Where awfulness happens

by Dan Bilicki In: Basketball

All that I have to say about last night’s travesty that masqueraded as a basketball game is this: Despite the referees bending over backwards to give the Magic every single advantage, they still choked away a 12-point lead to the Lakers.  Refereeing in the NBA has gotten to a point where it’s actually disgusting me to watch it. Even Game 2, where the refs were siding with L.A., I would have rather seen the Lakers struggle through an evenly called game rather than win it crookedly.

Something has to be done this off-season to solve this problem. Now, more than ever, it’s killing the game of basketball.
