Week 6 NFL picks

Since I’m getting my stuff together for a bachelors’ excursion to Montreal this week, we have just some picks for you. Hope it’s enough to get you by.

Home teams are in CAPS and lines are from 5Dimes.

St. Louis +15.5 over GREEN BAY
Sure, the Packers will probably crush them, but the Rams have had an extra week to prepare for this game so there’s a possibility they could cover.

PITTSBURGH -13.5 over Jacksonville
One of the league’s best pass defences against the league’s worst.

Philadelphia -1 over WASHINGTON
Come on, one of these weeks the Eagles have to pull it together, right?

DETROIT -4 over San Francisco
Prediction: The Lions fall behind early, then come back in the second half to cover. Seem familiar?

Carolina +4 over ATLANTA
The Cam Newton cover train will roll on. Plus, Julio Jones is out.

Indianapolis +8 over CINCINNATI
Sure, the Bengals defence is among the league’s best, but Curtis Painter could actually cover in this one.

Buffalo +3 over NEW YORK GIANTS
The Giants played down to the Seahawks last week and usually seem disinterested whenever they’re not playing within the division.

BALTIMORE-9 over Houston
Losing Andre Johnson, Mario Williams and a game to the Raiders in the past two weeks should have the Texans panicking.

Cleveland +7.5 over OAKLAND
Not sure why this line jumped 4.5 points since opening. The Browns can at least keep this close.

NEW ENGLAND -7 over Dallas
It feels like Dallas will have a chance to make a late cover, but will fall short.

New Orleans -4.5 over TAMPA BAY
The Bucs will certainly play better than last week, but aren’t nearly as good as the Saints.

CHICAGO -1.5 over Minnesota
The Bears will lineup to stop Adrian Peterson and the Vikes won’t be able to capitalize through the air.

NEW YORK JETS -8 over Miami
Do you believe in Matt Moore’s ability to lead a team? I most definitely do not.

Last week: 9-4
This season: 30-30-1
