NFL Week 13 picks

by Dan Bilicki In: Football, Picks

The lines are from bodog and the home teams are in CAPS.

Tennessee +3 over BUFFALO
Expect a big game from Chris Johnson. He doesn’t have too many of those any more.

CHICAGO -7 over Kansas City
It’s Caleb Hanie vs. Tyler Palko! They’re both terrible but at least the Bears defence is a big threat.

MIAMI -3 over Oakland
It’s always tough to like the west coast team flying east and playing early.

Cincinnati +7 over PITTSBURGH
At the very least this should be a close one. Plus, the Steelers didn’t look impressive on Monday night.

Baltimore -7 over CLEVELAND
How are Pittsburgh favoured by seven over Cincy, but the Ravens are only giving seven to the Browns.

New York Jets -3 over WASHINGTON
This is a must-win for the Jets if they want to make the playoffs.

Atlanta +1.5 over HOUSTON
T.J. Yates is a favourite in his first career NFL start?

Carolina +3 over TAMPA BAY
Thinking about the Bucs’ season just makes me sad. So much wasted potential.

NEW ORLEANS -9 over Detroit
The Saints are firing on all cylinders and looking like the team I envisioned when picking them to win the Super Bowl.

Denver -1 over MINNESOTA
Adrian Peterson’s out and the Broncos still have Tim Tebow.

St. Louis +14 over SAN FRANCISCO
Are the Rams really this bad? I think Sam Bradford will play and can cover this line.

ARIZONA -4.5 over Dallas
It’s December, which means it’s time for the Cowboys’ annual winter swoon.

NEW YORK GIANTS +7 over Green Bay
The Giants have a good history of playing tough against undefeated teams.

Indianapolis +21 over NEW ENGLAND
In the recent past, teams favoured by 20 or more points are just 2-6 against the spread.

JACKSONVILLE +3 over San Diego
Who thought it would be a good idea to put the crappy Jaguars on Monday Night Football? New coach means the Jags will play hard here.

This week: 0-1
Last week: 7-9
This season: 86-90-2
