NFL Week 13 picks

The lines are from Vegas and the home teams are in CAPs.

DETROIT +3 over Green Bay

There are only a couple of teams that a play like Aaron Rodgers’ Hail Mary happen against and the Detroit Lions are certainly one of them.

CHICAGO -7 over San Francisco

The 49ers are better with Blaine Gabbert playing, but I won’t trust him on the road against a tough Bears team.

Cincinnati -9.5 over CLEVELAND

The Bengals blew them out last time and should have a field day against Austin Davis.

Jacksonville +2.5 over TENNESSEE

The Jags won this matchup a couple of weeks ago and should win again.

Houston +3 over BUFFALO

Last year, J.J. Watt ran roughshod over the Bills O-line. This year, their starting RG and RT are out. Watt could be even more of a menace.

MIAMI -3.5 over Baltimore

There’s no way I’m taking Matt Schaub on the road. The Dolphins are in front-office chaos, but this latest move sounds like a good one to reinvigorate the offence.

Carolina -7 over NEW ORLEANS

The Saints should be packing it in while the Panthers won’t look past a division rival that’s on its knees.

MINNESOTA (pk) over Seattle

This is a pretty even matchup and there’s no reason to go against Adrian Peterson’s run to redemption.

ST. LOUIS +6 over Arizona

The Rams are always going to play division rivals tougher than anyone.

Atlanta +1.5 over TAMPA BAY

The Falcons have faltered lately, but they have Devonta Freeman back and know its a must-win.

NEW YORK GIANTS +2.5 over New York Jets

Seems like a weird line, as I figured these teams would be more even.

Denver -4 over SAN DIEGO

This seems like a bit of a trap game for Brock Osweiler, but the Chargers can’t be trusted at home.

Kansas City -3 over OAKLAND

A good division rivalry game, but the Chiefs are as hot as they come right now.

Philadelphia +10 over NEW ENGLAND

The Patriots are the far superior team, but are just too banged up to be giving this many points.

PITTSBURGH -7 over Indianapolis

With Big Ben OK after his concussion scare, the Steelers should get back in the playoff race with a win here.

WASHINGTON -4.5 over Dallas

There’s no reason left to bet on the Cowboys. Just pack it in, guys.

Last week: 7-9

This season: 100-68-7
