The Tiger saga

If you haven’t heard all of the details of Tiger Woods’ one-car accident, well, you probably have been living in a cave for the past week. I won’t recap what happened to the best golfer in world because there’s nothing new to be told about the accident, except that he’s now getting a fine of $164 and four demerit points for careless driving.

Instead, I have to disagree with anyone that’s taken the stance that Woods should come out and explain what happened that night. If indeed what really happened was that his wife found out about his alleged adulterous ways, then that is something private that doesn’t need to be discussed by anyone besides Woods and his wife, Elin.

Just because they are couple is having martial issues, no matter who it is, they should not be urged to come forward and air their dirty laundry to a worldwide audience.

On the other hand, if it is a case of drinking and driving, something that was alleged early on and summarily dismissed, then Woods should come clean. Anyone who gets behind the wheel while intoxicated should face the wrath of the system, regardless of who it is.
