It looks like the supposed best player in the world – except when it really matters – has finally taken the sound advice of almost everyone in the world and started working on a post game.
The Prince of South Beach has been visiting Hakeem Olajuwon in Houston to try to learn some of the Dream’s moves down low. It helped Dwight Howard out last year and he barely had a game in the paint, how could it hurt a man as physically gifted as LBJ?
For years now, we’ve known LeBron is an athletic marvel; an absolute beast of a man. He looked like he is destined to destroy anybody that you could throw on him down low because he’s just so physically dominant. The guy is 6-foot-8, 250 pounds without a morsel of fat on him. He’s built to bang but never chose to.
So why it took him so damn long to try this, we’ll never know. But at least we now know that he cares enough to try to get better – something that has been long questioned. Whether or not he uses his new moves in the paint when the NBA unchains its gates remains to be seen.
There’s also no word if working with one of the NBA’s all-time greats will help LeBron with his shrinkage problem either.
