Did you hear we’ve got a Bro Bowl?

In case nobody has told you yet, the two head coaches in the Super Bowl are brothers. Crazy, right? Well that’s just one of the many storylines that will be pounded into our brains for the next two weeks while Super Bowl madness builds towards the grand event.

I’m guessing that Sunday night was a bit weird about the Harbaugh homestead. While both of their sons made it to the big game, they must have realized that while one of them will hoist the Lombardi trophy, the other will come away empty-handed. You also have to believe that their phone was ringing off the hook with media requests and their email accounts flooded with the same.

What an unenviable, awkward situation that could be. And what will Harbaughs say when asked who they’d like to see win? Both?

Of course, there are some other storylines that we’re sure to hear leading up to Feb. 3 in New Orleans.

-Ray Lewis’ last game ever.

-Joe Flacco stepping up as an ‘elite’ quarterback.

-Colin Kaepernick proving the Niners right for starting him over Alex Smith.

-Smith’s future, since it’s obviously not in San Francisco.

This week: 2-0
The playoffs: 7-3
