NFL Week 17 selections

The lines are from oddsshark.com and the home team is in CAPs.

Tennessee -3.5 over HOUSTON

With a well-rested and hopefully 100% Derrick Henry, the Titans should ride their big back into the playoffs.

Cleveland -2.5 over CINCINNATI

Even the Browns can’t blow this one. In a lost season full of disappointment, they should be able to end on a high note.

Chicago +1 over MINNESOTA

With the Vikings looking to rest players, this should be Mitchell Trubisky’s time to shine. And, to be honest, he hasn’t been terrible down the stretch.

Indianapolis -4 over JACKSONVILLE

Doug Marrone is a safe bet to be part of the Black Monday casualties. He’ll lose his finale, too.

TAMPA BAY -1 over Atlanta

In a game with nothing on the line, why bet on the amazing Jameis Winston to fulfill his destiny and break some passing records?

Washington +11 over DALLAS

The Cowboys have an incredible level of talent, but the drive just isn’t there. The players look like they’ve given up on Jason Garrett and Dak Prescott’s shoulder is clearly a concern.

New Orleans -13 over CAROLINA

Christian McCaffery will get his yards to reach the 1,000-1,000 club, but that will be the lone positive for the Panthers in this one.

NEW YORK GIANTS +4.5 over Philadelphia

The Eagles will win this one, but it won’t be a blowout by any means. Philly makes the playoffs but it’s not pretty.

Pittsburgh -2 over BALTIMORE

It’s hard to trust the Ravens backups when you know that it’s RG3 running the show. In his relief efforts this season, he has looked fairly poor.

New York Jets +1.5 over BUFFALO

The Bills are locked in to the fifth seed and should be resting their top players. The Jets can be feisty at times, mainly when there’s little on the line – just like right here.

Miami +15.5 over NEW ENGLAND

Considering how bad the Patriots’ offence can be at times, it’s hard to think they can cover by more than two TDs. New England doesn’t have to win big either, it just has to win/

Green Bay -12.5 over DETROIT

This will likely be David Blough’s last career start and it won’t be pretty. More all intents and purposes, the Lions’ season ended when Matt Stafford broke his back.

L.A. Chargers +8.5 over KANSAS CITY

Is this Philip Rivers’ Chargers send-off? L.A. should start looking at an heir this off-season but Rivers should put up some numbers in K.C.

L.A. RAMS (nl) over Arizona

Whether it’s Kyler Murray or Brett Hundley, the game is still meaningless for both sides.

San Francisco -3 over SEATTLE

The running back situation in Seattle is dire. And the Seahawk aren’t as great at home as they have bene in the past.

DENVER -3.5 over Oakland

The Raiders need some help to get into the playoffs, but they won’t get it. It has been hard enough for them to even just get wins down the stretch.

Last week: 7-8-1

This season: 123-105-7
