The lines are from oddsshark.com and the home teams are in CAPs.
KANSAS CITY -9 over Houston
The champs shook off an early deficit to show that they should be a title threat once again.
Green Bay +2.5 over MINNESOTA
We think the Vikings will win the division, but Aaron Rodgers will have a fire under his ass for Week 1 after this long off-season.
NEW ENGLAND -6.5 over Miami
After an off-season of being questioned and counted out, don’t you think that Bill Belichick is going to have something big planned for Week 1 against the team that cost them dearly at the end of 2019?
Chicago +3 over DETROIT
Look, we don’t like Mitchell Trubisky, either, but this is a Bears team that could easily be a top-five defence once again. The Lions are a trendy pick, but have a tough coach to trust.
Seattle -2 over ATLANTA
Will Pete Carroll actually unleash Russell Wilson and the offence? That remains to be seen, but we don’t think the Falcons will provide much pressure on him in way of a pass rush.
Philadelphia -6 over WASHINGTON
Washington could cause some headaches with their defensive front for the Eagles, but we’ll back the overall superior team, even giving the points.
Indianapolis -8 over JACKSONVILLE
How many Jaguars can you name? You can probably name more members of the AEW roster that also operates out of their stadium. The Colts should put a pounding on their division rival.
Cleveland +8 over BALTIMORE
Without the roaring crowd giving the Ravens an underrated home-field advantage, this one shouldn’t be more than a TD. We’ll take the points and cross our fingers for a close one.
BUFFALO -6.5 over New York Jets
While many still back Sam Darnold for big things in his future, it’s not going to be with Adam Gase guiding him. The Jets are already banged up and shed some star power this off-season.
Las Vegas -3 over CAROLINA
The Raiders may have a long flight for this one, but the Panthers are a team that’s going to be exposed often this season.
CINCINNATI +3 over L.A. Chargers
Tell me again why I should be backing Tyrod Taylor as a road favourite in an early game? The Chargers do have some legit players, but have also lost key defender Derwin James already.
Arizona +7 over SAN FRANCISCO
Will the Super Bowl hangover start early? It definitely can as the Cardinals are a wild-card contender that should, at the very least, keep this close.
NEW ORLEANS -3.5 over Tampa Bay
Sure, Tom Brady is a Buc now, but there’s still the question about how he’s going to fit in a new offene with new receivers. The Saints also hold a nice advantage on defence, too.
L.A. RAMS +3 over Dallas
This one should be a shootout, with both teams stellar on offence and lacking in areas on defence.
NEW YORK GIANTS +6 over Pittsburgh
I can’t trust Big Ben on the road coming off serious elbow surgery while giving almost a TD until I see it work out.
Tennessee -2 over DENVER
The Broncos have already suffered two injury hits and the season hasn’t even begun. Losing Von Miller for the season and Courtland Sutton with a shoulder injury is rough right before hosting a tough team like the Titans.
