Denver +2 over CLEVELAND
Is D’Ernest Johnson a third stud RB for the Browns? And is Case Keenum better than Baker Mayfield? Or are the Broncos just bad?
BALTIMORE -6 over Cincinnati
In their two matchups last year, the Ravens embarrassed the Bengals. While Cincy has grown up quite a bit, they’re still a ways behind Baltimore and Lamar Jackson is on another level.
Carolina -3 over NEW YORK GIANTS
The Panthers have now lost three in a row and will be without Christian McCaffrey for another few weeks. For the Giants, their list of offensive weapons that won’t be available is longer than the active ones.
GREEN BAY -7.5 over Washington
The Packers haven’t let injuries slow them down while it’s the opposite in Washington. Seems like there’s enough tape on Taylor Heinicke for opponents to adapt to him and the Football Team has the undefeated Cards on deck for a Thursday night tilt after this on.
TENNESSEE +5 over Kansas City
The Chiefs may have won big last week in Washington, but they still made several mistakes that could’ve blown up on them. The Titans will once again be able to pound the ball with Derrick Henry and have a shot at winning this game outright.
Atlanta -2.5 over MIAMI
In an odd turn of events, both of these teams played their most recent games in London, but Atlanta has had a week off to readjust. The Falcons have also started to look a little more put together on offence after some early struggles.
NEW ENGLAND -7 over New York Jets
The Jets haven’t gotten too much better from when the Pats thoroughly whipped them in Week 2, while New England has shown growth, competing with some real contenders.
L.A. RAMS -15 over Detroit
Jared Goff just plain ain’t getting revenge in this terrible mismatch. The Lions play with pride, but that’s not enough in the NFL.
Philadelphia +3 over LAS VEGAS
The Raiders played well after getting the Gruden monkey off their back, but can they keep it up? The Eagles will get some players back from injury, but seriously need to work on their running game. We’ll take the points.
TAMPA BAY -12.5 over Chicago
The Bears defence has improved, but will have a tough time on the road against a well-prepared Tampa team. There’s also very little chance that Chicago’s offence can keep pace with Tom Brady and Co.
Houston +17.5 over ARIZONA
It’s a ton of points, and the Cards are probably good for them, but it’s that extra half that gives us pause. The Texans may getting over the Deshaun Watson debacle very soon and that should lift a weight off the organization.
Indianapolis +4 over SAN FRANCISCO
The Colts have looked fairly good the past three weeks with Jonathan Taylor playing like a star. The Niners will have Jimmy G back from injury after their bye week, but more than a FG seems like a bit much to give.
New Orleans -4.5 over SEATTLE
There’s not much to like about the Seahawks right now, with the defence a shell of its former self, Geno Smith not exactly shining and running backs going down hurt. The Saints have had an extra week to prepare for this one and should unleash Alvin Kamara.
