Alex Kerfoot is no longer a member of the Maple Leafs but that doesn’t mean he’s not still really good buds with a few Buds.
Over the weekend, Kerfoot married Marissa Balleza in beautiful Lake Country in B.C.’s Okanagan Valley.
And, it turns out, a few of his former teammates were on the guest list.
In a photo posted by Tessa Virtue, the three-time Olympic gold medallist and fiancée of Toronto defenceman Morgan Rielly, several past and present Leafs are seen having a good time at the reception.
Among those in the pic were Mitch Marner, Michael Bunting, John Tavares, Jake Muzzin and Justin Holl.
Other ex-Leafs in attendance were Jimmy Vesey and Colin Blackwell, who played with Kerfoot as members of the Harvard Crimson hockey team.
And, if you don’t think that professional athletes like to let loose in the off-season, both Kerfoot and Holl appear to have gone shirtless before the end of the night.
Marner and Bunting might also have had too good of a time at the party, as per tweets by Canadian broadcaster Gabriel Morency. He posted on July 23 that he was in the airport and heard Marner and Bunting being called to their gate: “Your plane is departing.”
It is unclear if they made the flight.
Kerfoot signed with the Phoenix Coyotes this off-season after four years with the Maple Leafs in which he scored 40 goals and 94 assists in 285 games.
