You would think a publicist would know better than to do something like this.
Pia Malihi, the publicist for Travis Kelce, reposted a birthday wish from a friend that had a photo of Malihi and Taylor Swift – with a very noticeable clown emoji over the face of the megastar.
That seems like an odd oversight for someone whose literal job is to try to make people look good towards the public.
Malihi’s account is currently private, likely due to any backlash coming here way from what should’ve been an innocent birthday post.
She reportedly has been nothing but nice to Swift during the Grammy winner’s relationship with Kelce, so that makes this even more confusing.
One social media user pointed out that Malihi had in the past worked for none other than Scooter Braun, a music producer who Swift had a massive feud with over the rights to her back catalog of music.
We’re sure that there is nothing conspiratorial or sinister going on, but the only one that is coming out of this one looking like a clown is Malihi, unfortunately.
As for the happy couple, Swift is set to begin the South American leg of her Era Tour on Nov. 9 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, while Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs next play Sunday against the Miami Dolphins in Frankfurt, Germany.
So it looks like long-distance Facetimes and text messages are on the menu for a little while – likely without any clown face emojis.
