DAN’S TIP: After you get past the two elite QBs, there is a lot of value and production to be had later in the draft.
1. Lamar Jackson, BAL
3127 passing yards, 36 passing TDs, 6 INTs, 1206 rushing yards, 7 TDs, 421.6 points.
Had the best-ever fantasy season on a per-game basis and his rushing totals alone would’ve made him a startable fantasy RB.
2. Patrick Mahomes, KC
4031 passing yards, 26 passing TDs, 5 INTs, 218 rushing yards, 2 TDs, 292.0 points.
The most exciting QB in the world, Mahomes topped 4,000 yards despite missing 21/2 game with a dislocated knee cap.
3. Dak Prescott, DAL
4902 passing yards, 30 passing TDs, 11 INTs, 277 rushing yards, 3 TDs, 348.7 points.
Had the second-most weeks with 20+ points (10) in 2019 and has the second most total points since Amari Cooper arrived in 2018.
4. Kyler Murray, ARI
3722 passing yards, 20 passing yards, 12 INTs, 544 rushing yards, 4 TDs, 297.2 points.
The addition of elite WR DeAndre Hopkins could see Murray make a big leap in his sophomore season.
5. Russell Wilson, SEA
4110 passing yards, 31 passing TDs, 5 INT, 342 rushing yards, 3 TDs, 333.6 points.
Despite playing in a run-heavy offence, Wilson has finished as a top-five QB in four of his eight seasons.
6. Deshaun Watson, HOU
3852 passing yards, 26 passing TDs, 12 INTs, 413 rushing yards, 8 TDs, 332.4 points.
Was second in points per game last season, but loss of top target Hopkins hurts his value.
7. Matt Ryan, ATL
4466 passing yards, 26 passing TDs, 14 INTs, 147 rushing yards, 1 TD, 281.3 points.
Has topped 600 attempts in each of the past two seasons and was the QB2 in 2018.
8. Josh Allen, BUF
3089 passing yards, 20 passing TDs, 9 INTs, 510 rushing yards, 9 TDs, 297.5 points.
A great example of the value of a running QB, Allen’s legs made up for his inconsistent arm.
9. Matthew Stafford, DET
2499 passing yards, 19 passing TDs, 5 INTs, 66 rushing yards, 171.5 points.
Before going down with a broken back, Stafford was among the top six QBs on a per-game basis.
10. Carson Wentz, PHI
4039 passing yards, 27 passing TDs, 7 INTs, 243 rushing yards, 1 TD, 282.8 points.
Somehow topped 4,000 yards without having a WR reach 500 receiving yards.
11. Tom Brady, TB
4057 passing yards, 24 passing TDs, 8 INTs, 34 rushing yards, 3 TDs, 271.6 points.
Heads south for warmer weather, a pass-heavy system and the best group of targets he has had in a decade.
12. Ben Roethlisberger, PIT
351 passing yards, 0 passing TDs, 1 INT, 7 rushing yards, 13.7 points.
Played just one full game in 2019, but was the third-best fantasy QB in 2018.
13. Drew Brees, NO
2979 passing yards, 27 passing TDs, 4 INTs, -4 rushing yards, 1 TD, 228.7 points.
Has all the tools for a top-10 finish, but running game plus Taysom Hill limits his upside.
14. Aaron Rodgers, GB
4002 passing yards, 26 passing TDs, 4 INTs, 183 rushing yards, 1 TD, 282.3 points.
Should be motivated after team drafted a QB, but Rodgers was QB20 or worse in nine weeks last season.
15. Jared Goff, LAR
4638 passing yards, 22 passing TDs, 16 INTs, 40 rushing yards, 2 TDs, 263.5 points.
His TD rate dropped by 2.2% from the previous two years after having his receivers tackled at the one-yard line seven times in 2019.
16. Cam Newton, NE
572 passing yards, 0 passing TDs, 1 INT, -2 rushing yards, 17.6 points.
Durability is a big concern, as well as his fit into a new offence, but rushing gives him a solid floor.
17. Baker Mayfield, CLE
3827 passing yards, 22 passing TDs, 21 INTs, 141 rushing yards, 3 TDs, 250.1 points.
Was a huge bust last season after being hyped as a top-five QB. Now, he’s a decent sleeper option.
18. Daniel Jones, NYG
3027 passing yards, 24 passing TDs, 12 INTs, 279 rushing yards, 2 TDs, 226.9 points.
Needs to be consistent, but was the QB5 on per-game basis in the second half of last season.
19. Joe Burrow, CIN
2020 rookie
This year’s first-overall pick could surprise with his athleticism and will get plenty of reps.
20. Ryan Tannehill, TEN
2742 passing yards, 22 passing TDs, 6 INTs, 185 rushing yards, 4 TDs, 230.1 points.
After winning the starting job in Week 7, he was shockingly the league’s third-best fantasy QB.
BEST OF THE REST (ONLINE ONLY)
Gardiner Minshew II, JAC
3271 passing yards, 21 passing TDs, 6 INTs, 344 rushing yards, 235.2 points.
New OC Jay Gruden should provide a boost after Minshew scored 16+ points in eight of his 12 rookie starts.
Kirk Cousins, MIN
3603 passing yards, 26 passing TDs, 6 INTs, 63 rushing yards, 1 TD, 250.4 points.
Won’t have the volume to provide value and lost his top WR.
Philip Rivers, IND
4615 passing yards, 23 passing TDs, 20 INTs, 29 rushing yards, 255.5 points.
Moves to a run-heavy Indy team which should limit his ceiling.
Drew Lock, DEN
1020 passing yards, 7 passing TDs, 3 INTs, 72 rushing yards, 71 points.
Getting some sleeper hype with bevy of young targets.
Jimmy Garoppolo, SF
3978 passing yards, 27 passing TDs, 13 INTs, 62 rushing yards, 1 TD, 260.3 points.
Plays for the second most run-heavy team and averaged just 13.5 points per game against teams other than Arizona.
Derek Carr, LV
4054 passing yards, 21 passing TDs, 8 INTs, 82 rushing yards, 2 TDs, 252.3 points.
Is this his last chance to impress coach Gruden?
Sam Darnold, NYJ
3024 passing yards, 19 passing TDs, 13 INTs, 62 rushing yards, 2 TDs, 202.1 points.
Should be hampered by subpar receiving options and bad coaching.
Dwayne Haskins Jr., WAS
Jury is still out, but coaching change could help.
Teddy Bridgewater, CAR
Potential for some big garbage time points hauls.
Ryan Fitzpatrick, MIA
He’s the starter in Miami, but for how long?
Tua Tagovailoa, MIA
Rookie is one to watch for in dynasty leagues.
Nick Foles, CHI
Hasn’t been able to win job from Trubisky, which is concerning.
Mitchell Trubisky, CHI
His time is just about up.
