Several teams went out shopping in free agency while others will still have plenty of holes to plug with the draft just about a month away.
1.Jacksonville
Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson
No questions with this one here. Lawrence remains atop just about everyone’s big board.
2. New York Jets
Zach Wilson, QB, BYU
31The biggest question for the Jets on draft day will likely be what kind of return they can get for Sam Darnold.
3. Miami
Penei Sewell, OT, Oregon
Will get offers to trade down and just might. The pick here is either Sewell or one of the elite WRs.
4. Atlanta
Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida
In a prime spot to trade down after committing to Ryan. Pitts would allow new coach Smith to dominate in two-TE sets.
5. Cincinnati
Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU
With Sewell off the board, the Bengals would be smart to get an elite weapon for Joe Burrow.
6. Philadelphia
DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama
The Eagles are in desperate need for a high-end target and the Heisman winner would give them a game-changer.
7. Detroit
Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama
After losing Golladay and Jones in free agency, the Lions absolutely need someone for Goff to throw to.
8. Carolina
Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota State
If the Panthers can’t land a proven vet in a trade, they’ll certainly look to grab one of the draft’s top four QBs.
9. Denver
Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State
The Broncos could trade up for a QB, but the electric Fields falls right into their laps in this mock.
10. Dallas
Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama
After seeing Awuzie walk away, the Cowboys need for another starting corner is only magnified.
11. New York Giants
Micah Parsons, LB, Penn State
Can focus elsewhere after picking up a high-end WR (Golladay) and a new starting CB (Jackson) in free agency.
12. San Francisco
Caleb Farley, CB, Virginia Tech
Might take a look at Mac Jones, but despite bringing back Verrett, the Niners are very thin at CB.
13. Los Angeles Chargers
Rashawn Slater, OT, Northwestern
Made some big moves to improve the interior of their line and now take a top tackle to finish rebuild.
14. Minnesota
Christian Darrisaw, OT, Virginia Tech
Loss of starting tackle Reiff leaves a big hole in an area that was already a concern for the Vikes.
15. New England
Mac Jones, QB, Alabama
Belichick has a strong connection with Alabama and the re-signing of Newton would allow Jones to learn for a year.
16. Arizona
Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina
The addition of J.J. Watt puts a bandaid on the pass rush need while Horn could replace Patrick Peterson.
17. Las Vegas
Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB, Notre Dame
Having torn down their O-line that’s another big possibility, but JOK could bring the Raiders D to the next level.
18. Miami
Kwity Paye, DE, Michigan
Could be set to rise after his pro day, has great athleticism and sky-high potential.
19. Washington
Alijah Vera-Tucker, OT, USC
Adding Samuel in free agency should cross off WR as a need, pushing them towards this versatile lineman.
20. Chicago
Teven Jenkins, OT, Oklahoma State
There’s a lot of holes to fill, but getting the offensive line right is an excellent place to start.
21. Indianapolis
Jaelen Phillips, DE, Miami
The Colts are solid against the run on the line, but need to get more pressure on the edge.
22. Tennessee
Kadarius Toney, WR, Florida
Seeing Corey Davis and Jonnu Smith skip town leaves a massive void in the Titans’ passing game.
23. New York Jets
Azeez Ojulari, OLB, Georgia
A raw edge rushing prospect, new coach Robert Saleh could help turn him into a stud.
24. Pittsburgh
Liam Eichenberg, OT, Notre Dame
With barely any cap room, the Steelers will need to address their O-line problems throughout the draft.
25. Jacksonville
Trevon Moehrig, S, TCU
As the draft’s highest-rated safety, Moehrig could go much higher. Would step right in as centre-fielder type for the Jags.
26. Cleveland
Zaven Collins, LB, Tulsa
Can play off the ball or rush the passer, which would make him an intriguing fit opposite Myles Garrett.
27. Baltimore
Gregory Rousseau, DE, Miami
Lost a pair of pass rushers in the off-season, creating a hole that the high-potential Rousseau could fill.
28. New Orleans
Greg Newsome II, CB, Northwestern
The cap-tapped Saints have holes everywhere, but need a new starting CB opposite Lattimore.
29. Green Bay
Landon Dickerson, C, Alabama
We know that Aaron Rodgers would love a pass-catcher here, but the priority should be replacing Cory Linsley.
30. Buffalo
Tyson Campbell, CB, Georgia
The Bills’ pass defence needs work and should look to upgrade the spot across from Tre White.
31. Kansas City
Samuel Cosmi, OT, Texas
Cosmi is a fast-rising prospect that could step right in to start on the Chiefs’ rebuilt offensive line.
32. Tampa Bay
Christian Barmore, DT, Alabama
With Suh remaining on the open market, the Super Bowl champs could pair Vea with this stud DT.
