FANTASY FOOTBALL PREVIEW: Tucker top dog among kickers

We’d never scrap kickers completely from fantasy football, but do not feel the need to grab one anytime before the final round of your draft.

1. Justin Tucker, BAL

26 FGs, 52 PATs, 145 points.

Has finished in the top eight of kickers every season he has been in the league, but has yet to top the chart.

2. Harrison Butker, KC

25 FGs, 48 PATs, 134 points.

The top kicker of 2019, Butker finished outside the top 10 in 2020 but his elite fantasy remains.

3. Younghoe Koo, ATL

37 FGs, 33 PATs, 168 points.

Since joining Atlanta in 2019, Koo has been one of the league’s best kickers, leading the NFL in FGs last year.

4. Greg Zuerlein, DAL

34 FGs, 33 PATs, 153 points.

Led the league in FG attempts last year and six of his seven misses were from 50+ yards.

5. Ryan Succop, TB

28 FGs, 52 PATs, 145 points.

Bounced back in Tampa after an injury-plagued 2019 in Tennessee, going just 1/6 on FG attempts.

6. Tyler Bass, BUF

28 FGs, 57 PATs, 157 points.

Gets a lot of volume in Buffalo’s kicking game, ranking seventh in FG attempts and second in PATs.

7. Jason Sanders, MIA

36 FGs, 36 PATs, 172 points.

Last year’s top fantasy kicker was actually the only one who played the entire season to not miss a PAT.

8. Jason Myers, SEA

24 FGs, 49 PATs, 138 points.

Hit all of field-goal attempts in 2020 and hit the longest FG in the league last year at 61 yards.

9. Matt Gay, LAR

14 FGs, 16 PATs, 66 points.

Came aboard the Rams as a late-season injury replacement and stuck around after hitting 14/16 FGs.

10. Daniel Carlson, LV

33 FGs, 45 PATs, 155 points.

Carlson’s 18 field goals made between 20-29 yards were seven more than any other kickers.

11. Graham Gano, NYG

31 FGs, 21 PATs, 133 points.

Has hit 94% of his FGs since the 2017 season, when he was with the Carolina Panthers.

12. Matt Prater, ARI

21 FGs, 38 PATs, 117 points.

Should get more opportunities in the desert than in Detroit, but hit just 75% of his FG attempts.

13. Brandon McManus, DEN

28 FGs, 24 PATs, 136 points.

The Broncos trotted him out for a record 15 attempts from 50+ yards, with McManus hitting 10.

14. Robbie Gould, SF

19 FGs, 36 PATs, 106 points.

His attempts were down last year due to the injury struggles on the Niners offence, but should rebound.

15. Rodrigo Blankenship, IND

32 FGs, 43 PATs, 150 points.

Had an excellent rookie season, but you have to worry that the Colts take a step back.

16. Mason Crosby, GB

16 FGs, 59 PATs, 120 points.

Hit all of his 16 FG attempts, which was a career low, but led the league in PATs.

17. Michael Badgley, LAC

24 FGs, 36 PATs, 120 points.

The so-called Money Badger was hardly money last year, hitting just 72.7% of his FG attempts.

18. Dustin Hopkins, WAS

27 FGs, 30 PATs, 128 points.

His 79.4% field goal rate was a career-low and he had six misses from 40+ yards on 21 attempts.

19. Josh Lambo, JAC

5 FGs, 8 PATs, 28 points.

Missed all but four games last season, but has been one of the league’s most accurate kickers.

20. Cairo Santos, CHI

30 FGs, 36 PATs, 139 points.

Have the Bears finally kicked their kicking curse? Santos missed just two attempts in 2020.
