Three QBs go in Top 3 of NFL mock draft with Caleb Williams on top

While Caleb Williams has been tabbed as the top pick in 2024 since last year’s go-round, the real interesting question is how many QBs will go in the top five in this very offence-heavy draft.

1. Chicago: Caleb Williams, QB, USC

The Bears get their man and player that has potential to be the best QB the franchise has ever had.

2. Washington: Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU

Maye remains in play here, but most of the signs are pointing towards Daniels being the pick.

3. New England: Drake Maye, QB, UNC

While there are reports the Pats are shopping this pick, Maye would give them a cornerstone QB to build around.

4. Arizona: Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State

The Cardinals have a severe lack of weapons and Harrison’s talent and pedigree are as good as they get.

5. L.A. Chargers: JC Latham, OT, Alabama

Look for the Chargers to potentially trade down but if not, Latham is a mauling right tackle that Jim Harbaugh will love.

6. New York Giants: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU

If they don’t want to pull the trigger and move on from Daniel Jones, they might as well get him a Grade A weapon.

7. Tennessee: Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame

One of the best fits in the draft, the massive Alt can be a cornerstone on the Titans’ line.

8. Atlanta: Dallas Turner, DE, Alabama

With the offence seemingly sorted after the arrival of Kirk Cousins, the Falcons need to focus on defence.

9. Chicago: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington

With their second pick, the Bears could trade back but with Odunze here, Williams gets a young WR to grow with.

10. New York Jets: Brock Bowers, TE, Alabama

While getting a young tackle also would help, Bowers is a unique weapon at TE that you rarely see.

11. Minnesota: J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan

The Vikes are quite likely to move up for McCarthy or Maye, so landing JJ here would be a bonus.

12. Denver: Michael Penix Jr., QB, Washington

Their trade for Zach Wilson this week showed just how dire the QB situation is in Denver.

13. Las Vegas: Quinyon Mitchell, CB, Toledo

The Raiders have been linked to Penix, but also have a big need for a young stud at corner.

14. New Orleans: Olumuyiwa Fashanu, OT, Penn State

With some big questions at both tackle spots, the Saints need to prioritize the O-line.

15. Indianapolis: Brian Thomas Jr., WR, LSU

Adding Thomas to a WR corps with the re-signed Michael Pittman Jr. and Josh Downs will give opponents headaches.

16. Seattle: Troy Fautanu, OL, Washington

With his versatility to play at either guard or tackle, Fautanu would be a great add to the Seahawks’ line.

17. Jacksonville: Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama

Arnold ranks as either the best or second-best corner in the draft and the Jaguars have a glaring need at CB.

18. Cincinnati: Byron Murphy II, DL, Texas

Murphy is a hot name that could see teams trade up for him. He’s even a candidate to be the first defensive player taken.

19. L.A. Rams: Laiatu Latu, DE, UCLA

The loss of Aaron Donald will immensely hurt the Rams’ defensive line. Latu’s big question mark is health-related, but he is incredibly talented.

20. Pittsburgh: Graham Barton, OL, Duke

The Steelers cut two starting offensive linemen this off-season and will need to reload to help their new QBs.

21. Miami: Taliese Fuaga, OT, Oregon State

Would love to see Murphy drop to them or could take Newton at DT, but offensive line needs some fresh bodies, too.

22. Philadelphia: Jared Verse, DE, Florida St.

The Eagles love to build their lines through the draft and this year will be no different. Verse could potentially go in the top 10.

23. Minnesota: Johnny Newton, DL, Illinois

This pick would be involved in any trade up for a QB, but if the Vikes stand pat, Newton is a solid interior lineman with quick-twitch moves.

24. Dallas: Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia

The Cowboys would love to beef up their line with this absolute monster.

25. Green Bay: Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama

With a new defensive coordinator in town, the Pack should look to give him some solid depth at DB.

26. Tampa Bay: Jackson Powers-Johnson, OC, Oregon

The interior of the Bucs offensive line has taken some hits in recent years.

27. Arizona: Darius Robinson, DE, Missouri

After taking a potential star playmaker at No. 4, the Cards could either trade back or help out their pass rush.

28. Buffalo: Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas

With their top two WRs from last season now gone, the Bills desperately need to add one early in the draft.

29. Detroit: Cooper DeJean, CB, Iowa

The Lions lost some key members of the DB corps this off-season and could slot the versatile DeJean right in.

30. Baltimore: Chop Robinson, DE, Penn State

The Ravens have some holes to fill on defence, not the least of which is the one left by pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney.

31. San Francisco: Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma

Trent Williams remains an elite left tackle, but he’s now 35 and has dealt with some injury issues.

32. Kansas City: Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas

With Rashee Rice in legal limbo, the Chiefs once again have a hole to fill at WR and would love this burner.
