The lines are from Covers.com and the home teams are in CAPs.
Cincinnati +6.5 over BALTIMORE
It is dumbfounding how referees can miss not one, but two fairly blatant penalties on a crucial two-point convert in the fourth quarter. Also, do you remember when these two teams were actually known for their defence?
New York Giants -6.5 over Carolina in Germany
On one hand, you don’t really want to lay this many points on Daniel Jones and the Giants. But, on the other hand, he plays better on the road and the Panthers rate like a historically bad squad.
Denver +8 over KANSAS CITY
The Broncos come off a massive blowout loss, but we’re hoping they have something better in store for the rival Chiefs. K.C. worked overtime on Monday night and have won just two games by more than seven points this year.
INDIANAPOLIS +4 over Buffalo
It might be hard to believe, but the Colts actually have one of the best records against the spread this season at 7-2. The Bills could very well also be caught looking ahead to next week’s massive matchup with K.C., too.
Minnesota -4.5 over JACKSONVILLE
Quite simply, the Vikings have advantages across the board in this matchup and might be the team to put Doug Pederson in the unemployment line.
CHICAGO -6.5 over New England
This is a prime bounce-back spot for a Bears team that lost on a Hail Mary and then got blown out in the desert. Caleb Williams still has his rough patches, but the Bears are undefeated in Chicago this season.
San Francisco -5.5 over TAMPA BAY
Not only are the 49ers looking like they’ll finally be getting Christian McCaffrey in the lineup, they’ve also got a tremendous rest advantage coming off a bye while the Bucs played overtime on Monday night.
NEW ORLEANS +3.5 over Atlanta
Here’s hoping to the new coach bounce for the Saints after sacking Dennis Allen. After losing seven in a row, it can’t get much worse, right?
Pittsburgh +2.5 over WASHINGTON
We all know that backing Mike Tomlin’s Steelers as an underdog is always a strong bet and the Commanders could be caught looking ahead to their Thursday night date with the rival Eagles.
L.A. CHARGERS -7.5 over Tennessee
The Titans have covered just one game this season, worst in the league. The Chargers have proven to be one of the league’s best defences while the offence has looked incredible sharp at time.

Philadelphia -7 over DALLAS*
When Cooper Rush has had to step in for Dak Prescott in the past, the Cowboys have had a solid running game and defence to lean on. That’s not the case anymore and the Eagles should put up some points against an ailing rival.
ARIZONA +1.5 over New York Jets
Even with the Jets showing some signs of life last week, how much can you trust them as a road favourite against a potential playoff team?
Detroit -3.5 over HOUSTON
The Texans offence ranks a shocking 23rd in DVOA and we can’t back them – even as a home dog – without Nico Collins assuredly in the lineup. The Lions are very capable to covering here.
L.A. RAMS -1.5 over Miami
Sean McVay’s team is picking up steam and the offence is starting to really fire with both Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua back from injury. Not sure why this line is so short.
Last week: 6-8
This season: 63-72-2
